In reference to the allergy question/comments, Daly, Simon, and Burnett-Stolnack (1995) state that "there may be a relationship between increased dysfluency and allergies and asthma" ... and that "recent data suggests that clients who suffer from allergies or asthma seem to experience more frequent setbacks or relapses".
