Dear Janet, Thanks alot for your interest in our work. Yes, I submitted a paper last year in which I talked about the genetic research project we had with the National Institute of health. It is a continous research project. The geneticist/reseracher/investigator involved visited my family twice last year and collected blood and speech samples from 42 members of my immediate and extended family that stuttered and went to his Lab in Washington to study these and keeping us the subjects posted on the results of the studies. As part of the research study, I visited the NIH last July and went through a neurological examination . I also had talks with some authorities of the NIH and other stutterers will be studied in Cameroon this yhear and next year. I have already shorted listed some 100 individuals and if all works as plan, the researcher/investigator who was carrying on the studues last year will come next month to study these 100 individuals. The research project is continuing and it will take a few years for the results to be published. I hope I am clear now. If you have other questions, do not fail to contact me agin. Joseph Lukong
