I thoroughly enjoyed reading your paper. I can tell that you have had much experience over the years with good therapy experiences, bad therapy experiences and maybe a mixture of the two. Sheehan's "Iceburg Analogy" that you referred to in your paper is a very good way to view the whole phenomena of stuttering. So much of the actual stuttering comes from the emotional baggage, anxiety, guilt, etc. It is a helpful analogy for SLP's to understand when conducting therapy with a person who stutters.I loved the other analogies of the snowflake, density examples, size examples, etc. Your humour in the paper made it very informative and entertaining!
