I have now read your paper 3 times, and it gets better every time! I am a Graduate Student in Communication Disorders at MSU,Mankato. I have heard the iceburg analogy a couple of times and it always made a lot of sense to me. Your paper just made a lot more sense to me. I've never really thought about how if you blow off that top 10% you are really adding more to the bottom. That was new insight number 1. Numbers 2 and 3 involve you adding the variations to the iceburg of density and hardness. Your explanations were really clear. Thanks for a great article!
