Todd, that's exactly what I thought! Huh, me...talking in front of hundreds of people!? (often it was thousands; occasionally millions) ...and with a microphone (and especially about something that I wasn't really that knowledgeable at the time.) But having been "ordered" to do it, made it happen. And what I discovered, Todd, was that what was once a "weakness" for me became not only a "strength," but pleasureable! You can do the same thing on a smaller scale: give presentations in front of groups (church/school/civic/business)or even join Toastmasters which gives you a group who will HELP you learn to speak in public. And to be honest with you, it's a lot easier to give a presentation in front of a huge crowd than a small audience! (There's more intimacy and eye contact.) So yeah, I'll bet if you worked on it, you'd be able to deliver speeches to whomever you wanted to. Thanks for your comment.
