Wow! What a great article! I enjoyed the practical examples you used. The information about monitoring makes sense to me. Before reading this, I was thinking of monitoring in a way that could at times inhibit fluency. Your description of monitoring as speech targets with the examples of reminders makes it clear to me how monitoring is much more of a fluency facilitator than inhibitor.

As a future speech-language pathologist, I was motivated by your article. The information is given in such a practical, easy to read and apply manner that I can’t wait to be able to apply it.
