WOW-- you are indeed fortunate if, as a graduate student, you have already had a chance to work with both fluency shaping and stutering modification. At many universities, students are fortunate to be able to use one of these, if any.

You did not really ask a question but I think I know what you are saying-- I'll take a stab at answering, and if there is more to it, then I hope you will follow up with another post

I guess by the term "negativity" you are referring to negative emotional: e.g., being scared nervous and fearful, etc.

This is why desensitization is to important, along with the supportive counseling that accompanies it.
