Hi, Jamie

Thanks for reading my paper and thanks for your comment. Tonight is the last night for this, so I'd best reply now and wait until we are disconnected.

First-- let me again way that 100% monitoring is impossible and unrealistic. But there must be enought monitoring to make a difference, particularly in situations where it is necessary and where it is important to talk well and be in charge of the say you talk.

Acronyms are best when they are generated by the client !!!! The ones mentioned are ones we frequently use in our clinic, and which make sense to a lot of people. (I am composing this here, for a reply to you, from home. I do not have a hard copy of the paper, so I can't remember which ones I used. Sorry) Here we go with some other ones. (I hope the line spacing works for this.)

SSS: Stutterers Starters Stink NNT: No Need to Hurry NNTW: No Need to Worry NNTP: No Need to Panic RTSE: Remember to Start Easily AVM: Air-Voice-Movement TYT: Take your Time

There is nothing "sacred" about these reminders-- buyt they can be helpful remingers, that many have found useful.

Thanks for yor comment

Steve Hood
