John and Sharon- Although it is very unfortunate when a child has any type of difficulty, I admired your determination as parents to find out what was ailing Mattie even when the doctors said everything was fine. Similarly, as a child, I became physically ill and the doctors said they could find nothing wrong and that I was "normal." However, because of my parents persistence, the disorder was discovered. Therfore, I was gradually able to adjust to my new way of life and to feel happier and healthier. Thank goodness for wonderful, caring and understanding parents!! -Carolyn
