Thank you for your article. I am a Speech Language Pathologist who learned a lesson about the importance of self-help groups from my clients. I now routinely arrange a meeting for my clients in the early stages of our therapy program...my clients have all told me that hearing information about attitudes and emotions from other's who have 'lived' it is more valuable than hearing it from me.
