Hello Tim,
I was wondering: what led you to want to become a SLP? Why did you choose it?
I have a bad experience with my mom regarding eye contact. When we go out and meet some of her friends, and that friend asks me how I am and I block, my mom looks down. I feel angry and sad at that moment. And in the house, it's the same. My worst blocks are with her. Whenever I block, she looks away. This makes me feel like she's sorry she'd ever given birth to me. I feel she has more issues than I do, treating her child this way???
