Try talking to someone and then look away when you begin to block. Still having trouble? Look at the person in the eye. Bam!! The word comes right out! That is exactally what happened to me yesterday when I met Tim for the first time. It really proved to me how important eye contact really is. I have been told in the past to do so, but with no example to show me that it works. It took several years, but I finally know that eye contact is key to fluent speech! I've been working on my eye contact today and have already seen a difference in my speech!!
