I am a graduate student currently enrolled in fluency disorders at Southern Univerisity and A&M College. I found this paper to be very informative as well as practical. Being a person who values humor I realize that humor can alleviate some of the stress and frustration associated with stuttering. I too feel humor would contribute greatly to intervention and it was interesting to see that research has been done in this area and read actual facts about humor being quite beneficial. This paper also helped me to be more empathetic, towards stutterers because I have actually felt the feelings that a stutterer may experience in my own moments of anxiousness or embarrassment. Thumbs Up!
