Hi! Jane ! thanks for reading my presentation - and for helping me start this great adventure ! we missed you in Montreal ! I made several research about the prevalence of Gilles de la Tourette (though the criteria of diagnosis are not quite the same in Europe and in the States). So, this is an average prevalence (one for a thousand) I was giving, An article from the Society of NeuroScience says 1 million people are suspected in the States....the NIH says 5/10 000 people, (Scientific American) etc... Any I did find more cases than I suspected, and I didn't include the several tiqueurs in the four "real" (i meant complete according to american criteria) cases I mentioned in my presentation... I do feel I may have seen more than that in my younger days and have not made maybe the right diagnosis at that time.... It seems that the conjunction of ADD, stuttering and tics (wandering tics) should be a strong warning.
