Charlet : I did write an answer earlier which disappeared obviously.Medical clinics can only be established...by MD and very very few are interested by stuttering, unless they have a personnal or a familial interest in it...but it is an evidence that a multidisciplinary approach -which gives a broader point of view - may lead to point so far unlooked for links... Anyway multidisciplinary staffs or discussions, including a neurologist or a phoniatrician may be of great help in many cases where disfluences are "bizarre" or odd, or "atypical" like the ones I recorded...though there is need for a stuttering therapy AS WELL as for drugs . It is not an either..or matter of case;

Maybe there is also a need for teaching more about stuttering in med schools?

Thank you for your question Marie-Claude Monfrais-Pfauwadel
