Dear Libby, my heart fell into place while reading this. I don't know where on this Conference did I mention (twice) having too many antennas out and screening all the unnecessary signals, and this is the first time that I've heard someone saying that they've noticed that and that it is true. One of my oldest memories, from when I was very very little, is hearing "she is too sensitive". From the tone of voice coming from a person on a telephone I "choose" whether to stutter more or less or not at all. I pick it up on that first "hello". I hear if she/he is tired, happy, in love, upset, worried... and something in me reacts and it channels through my body and my speech. I feel as everybody wears this protective shield two meters around their body, and my shield is so close to my body that I feel everybody's aura before they even start to talk, and it affects me, my attitude and my speech. One woman said it nicely on a TV show that talked about emotional disorders, and she said: "I feel that my outside is everybody's inside." That's a nice description!

One of my biggest goals as an adult is to try to reason the situations and not feel them.
