Dr. Oyler, thank you for heightening my own awareness regarding the degree of sensitivity in children who stutter. After reading your article and the article by Ms. Packman a question comes to mind... Have you noted in any studies a decrease in sensitivity over time for those children who are treated for stuttering before age 6 and stop exhibiting any signs of stuttering or for those who stop stuttering naturally?
