I found this to be a very informative article. The question of treating young children who stutter is a tough one because there is a belief that by calling attention to the stuttering in the therapy process, the SLP is in fact making the disorder worse. However, there is not a way to predict if a child will be in the 74% who recover spontaneously. Do you believe there is ever a case in which therapy should definitely not be conducted (assuming parental consent)?
