Your extensive reply is very much appreciated. I understand that the question about primary symptoms, thought to be caused by some physical factor, and secondary symptoms, developed as a result of experienced non-fluency, is difficult to answer on the basis of present available research and knowledge. It is promising that almost all children, and I interpret almost as meaning some 95%, do not stutter after following the Lidcombe program.
