If you are doing an evaluation for a preschool age child (where the parent wants therapy, regardless of the child’s ability to grow out of the stuttering) and the child does not meet state governed qualifications (pre-set qualifying scores), is it ethical to just dismiss parental concern based on preset qualifying standards? How do we address this issue?
