Hi, I am an SLP graduate student at Kean University. I really enjoyed reading your article and learned a lot from it. I recently read "Stuttering: A Life Bound Up In Words" By Marty Jezer. In it he describes that SLP's told his parents to wait and see what happens. Before reading this article, I could not understand why an SLP would make them wait? Now I see that there are different ideas and treatment options out there. From your article it appears to me that you are referring to young children, that they should wait and see. What do you feel about children who are beyond preschool age, is the wait and see option also for them? Thank you, Esther Arem
