Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern and desire to find help for your son. At present, our research into the effects of time since onset on the effectiveness of the Lidcombe Program has only been conducted using the treatment model described in the treatment Manual. The findings give no cause to believe that a three-and-a-half year lag is detrimental to outcome. I hope all goes well!
