Hi Ann, I enjoyed your article. I have a boy (3 yrs old) in my preschool class in a public school setting. I have him for speech for articulation errors and language delay. I have noticed that he is dysfluent at the onset of a sentence. Once he passes the dysfluent word he is fine. I don't think he notices and the other children don't seem to either. This was never brought up by the parents. I was wondering if I should have a few sessions on different ways of speaking? Maybe use puppets to demonstrate (we're talking basic). I would go by the Lidcombe Program and wait a year to introduce therapy. Any thoughts on this? Thanks Laura
