I’m afraid that this is question is outside my brief here, which is the timing of early intervention. However, my colleagues at the Stuttering Unit in Sydney report that they use the Program successfully with Down Syndrome children, taking individual differences into account. In my view, further research is sorely needed into treating stuttering in children with developmental disability.
