I found your article to be a very interesting perspective on this complex issue. I understand that there are so many factors that have to be considered before determining whether or not to treat and when to treat a child. I was wondering, when you have to make this decision, how you know which treatment approach is the most appropriate for that child in advance. Is it based clearly on the personality and characteristics of the child and family? It seems that it would be hard to know this in advance. It also seems like it couldn't hurt the child to have the parents educated about the Multiprocess approach and techniques and if necessary switch to the Lidcombe approach later on.
