Hello, from Mankato, Minnesota, USA. I am a 2nd year graduate student currently in my first internship. I am in a school setting now and will be in a medical setting later. Insurance companies and payments are a reality in both areas. You stated in your paper: "So in times when German consumers and health insurances have increasing interest in formal evaluation of treatment efficacy there is a lack of objective and comparable data." I was wondering what the criteria is now for German insurance companies to pay for therapy. Do they have a set number of visits that are approved or do they continue paying until the therapist dismisses the client? What seems to be the future trend as far as insurance paying for therapy? Thanks for a great article.
