Yet another Re: Many thanks for the questions. You are absolutely right that the first reason for sampling via thelephone calls was the limitation of time and the curbing of costs. But we also thought it a good idea to get samples in exactly this situation, which is often difficult for stuttering persons. Admittedly four speech samples - that means one at each point - are not enough. Our goal is a broad (screening) investigation and we hope the daily variation of stuttering could be adjusted when receiving some hundred samples. Finally in the evaluation program the speech samples and the questionnaires should complement one another. I hope our replies are okey for you.
