Il linguaggio del balbuziente è un linguaggio di testa, chiuso. Gli uomini balbettano di più rispetto le donne perché hanno un modo di parlare di testa, cioè più simile ai balbuzienti. Le donne usano un linguaggio più del corpo, più emotivo, più ricco, per questo la donna è meno esposta alla balbuzie.
