I just wanted to comment on how much I enjoy learning about what the important people in the field of stuttering have to say, in their own words, as was the case for Dean William's 1977 presentation. I have had the opportunity to listen to various other ASHA Convention presentations through the Voices: Past and Present web site. I feel that I gain a much better understanding of views and ideas if I have the opportunity to hear them directly from the people that have developed and supported these views and ideas. Thank you for sharing the audio clip of Dean Williams, and also sharing your experiences with working with him at the mentor/mentee level.
