I am currently a 2nd year grad student attending Minnesota State Univesity-Mankato. Fortunately for me, I have been involved periodically with the local NSA chapter throughout my educational career. As student attendees, we are required to prepare 3 questions related to stuttering which we then ask the group members. Each member has an opportunity to respond to our questions. I have found this experience invaluable. As you can imagine, a wide variety of topics has been discussed. Each member has his own personal experience to relay and the responses sometimes are as varied as the questions. I would encourage any student in the communication field to become involved in a support group. I have learned and am learning from the people who know stuttering best.
