I certainly understand your concerns about your assignment. Why not get together with some of your classmates and practice how you are going to stutter. Remember, the average adult who stutters only produces one stuttering in 10 words. I know you want to sound realistic when you complete your assignment, so practice. Further, bring a classmate along for support. Just remember, all of this anticipation and anxiety that you might be experiencing is part of the daily life of some persons who stutter. So, you are already learning about the problem even before you go out and stutter. This should remind you that stuttering is more than the breakdown in speech that you observe.
