As an undergraduate, I also had to complete a similar assignment. However, our assignment was not as in-depth as yours. I think that the informational pamphlet that your students handed out are a great idea. It makes them aware of what stuttering is, and if they were one of those who had a bad reaction, maybe the information your students provided would help to change their reaction to future "real stutterers" that they encounter. I also think that the idea of having the additional students or "police" there is an excellent idea. When you are the one who is "stuttering" I think that you are more sensitive to the reactions of those that you are talking to. The "police" then, in a way can also gauge whether the reaction felt by the stutterer was accurate. This project... although I'm not sure I would have liked to do it... is not only making your students better future SLPs but also educating the public! Great job!
