First, I just have to say that I commend you for becoming a speech pathologist. I think that is great because of how you can identify with your clients. I'm sure it makes what you do worth while to be able to break down some of those same walls that you experienced.

I wasn't exactly sure what this phrase meant "I embrace the biblical admonition to avoid idle speech and the Buddhist practice of "right speech." Does this idle speech relate to transactional analysis(talking minimally)? Have you ever considered looking into other religions to see if there might be something more out there in regards to giving you an everlasting peace and feeling of contentness?
