Thank you for the information-the examples are very helpful. As a student clinician I plan to incorporate similar techniques into sessions with clients who do not stutter. The use of metaphors can really be expanded to a variety of areas in therapy. Your article has helped me generate some ideas for people who may have difficulty communicating/expressing themselves.
