Ofcourse thats right -the painting is a process, therapy is a process and we attend to things like pace of conversation, silence, consideration of choice of vocabulary etc within it - sometimes I think we are more concious of those processes with some clients than with others. Im glad you enjoyed the article i liked your metaphor too!
