I guess I would use the words which meant most to the client. Letting the iceberg melt is great if you want him/her to experience more warmeth and closeness in their lives and perhaps work on more openness to others. Also melting tends to come (in iceberg terms) from the top down, so therapeutically you would be working on reducing more of the overt features that lie above the water line. Good luck with it all!
