Mr. Wade,

Your statements regarding the importance to shift the focus of attention away from the things that one can't control to those one can & to establish effective goals that are reasonable, reaslistic, and observable hit the nail on the head! There have been many times that I've had students who stutter and their focus is on how they say something rather than what it is they are saying. Changing the focus to the 'what' and breaking the goals down into smaller pieces would be of great benefit. Thank you for your insights.
