Hi, Dawnyale- What great questions! You are right – one must find a balance in seeking a challenge and then having the skills, abilities, knowledge, etc. to meet that challenge. I believe, however, that simply by accepting the challenge, there is success. The key part is to recognize the elements of success in the challenge. After review of these positive outcomes, it is appropriate to complete an inventory of what is needed for future challenges. This assessment process leads to growth and change. Does that make sense?
