Hi Jennifer, Like a few others who have responded to your article, I too was very moved by this. I am currently studying to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, and topics such as self-esteem are not always discussed, so it was great to obtain some information from your article. My question to you then is would you feel it is appropriate for an SLP to have an individual fill out a questionnaire concerning his/her self-esteem before therapy sessions are conducted, or do you feel it would be too overbearing for the client to handle? I know that PWS often struggle with self-esteem, and I want to be able to provide the best services to them. What advice do you have for me?
