Shelley, Thank you so much for your response to our paper. And thanks for asking such great questions! We do not do any classic plays. All of the work we do is written by the young people in the company. Although I think all the plays they write will become the new classic plays of our time, no pun intended. I feel it is very important for young people who stutter to finally get a chance to say exactly what they want to say. Too often we avoid words, thoughts, and feelings. We spend all our energy trying to hide who we are. At Our Time, we say whatever we want to say, in our own time, in our own way. All descions are made by the group as a whole. Everyone has an equal say and an equal role in the show. Then I have the job to put it all together and make sure it works as a complete play. Our shows are really something to see. It is amazing to watch the show come together throughout the year. To see it go from just an idea, to a first draft, to the final curtain call is a powerful experience for all. I do hope you can come and see us perform when you come to NYC. If you would like to be added to our mailing list, please email your snail-mail address to: taro@ourtimetheatre.org this way we can keep you up to date on all our events. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you soon. Taro
