Hi, Alan. I've been reading some of the papers here and some of them bring back painful memories. You know, I think I may be a fairly rare beast. Generally I'm 99% fluent now - so fluent that the only people who know I have a problem (other than my family, who knew me when I was a kid) are people I decide to tell. And telling is a recent thing for me (see my paper here - 'Tongue Tied). Anyway, it's clear that you're very involved in the ongoing effort to raise the profile of the problem of stuttering. Is there any way I could take a more active part? Speaking at UK conferences etc. If so, I'd be interested. Please let me know. (John)
