Hi mark, Great to hear from you! I'm most appreciative of your generous comments. In my opinion, avoidance (including word sustitution) makes such a critical contribution to our stutter. Every time I avoided a word or sound, the fear level increased. 4 years ago, I made a pact with myself that I would never again avoid anything - words, sounds, situations etc. I've remained true to that promise through thick and thin and reaped the immense dividends. Chris and I are flattered that you wish to include our efforts on the International Stuttering Association CD rom. We'll contact you privately about this. I still have many fond memories of my trip 'Down Under' earlier this year when I attended the World Congress for People Who Stutter. The ISA team did a wonderful job.
