Mary, I hope that I am not being redundant, but I wanted to make sure that you were able to read my reply. My first answer did not appear when I hit my reload button, so I am submitting it a second time. Thank you for your insightful comments. We agree that parents are our partners in the treatment process and that their stories help us to plan the most effective treatment for their children. Listening is an essential skill for all SLPs. We are happy to see that this is apparent to graduate students. You have an excellent start in the profession. Good luck!
