I agree that parents should be counseled on how to deal with their children and stuttering. During the past several years I have had several clients who stuttered. Any of the time I spent counseling the child and their parents--I look back now on and think I was just providing information and not allowing time for them to ask me questions. To decrease my information giving time and increase my actual counseling time it might be effective to provide the parents with some basic websites and resources to gain information from, and then ask me questions about the information they gathered. My question is--does anyone have in wonderful sites I can have to refrence for future clients.
