Gene, I to thank you for putting a voice to these names. Carl Dell was my professor and since he was a student of Van Riper I was shaped by his methods. Although we were exposed to a variety of therapy methods and theories, Van Riper stands out in my memory and view on stuttering and stuttering therapy.
