Dear Michael: I wrote two wonderful responses to your more than kind words and lost them both. I'll try again. Bless your heart! Once again your kind words overwhelm me. I do recall vividly our first interations at a Council of Adult Stutterers at Northwestern (and what a loss it is to all of us that Hugo is gone). You really took me to task and I ended up loving you for it. Your friendship since that time so long ago years means a great deal to me and I suspect you know that (not to mention the hours of fine music you've provided me). Your comments about the polarization of thinking (and feelings)regarding the treatment stuttering is right-on. At one time it was fun to have spirited debate regarding the issues and maintain a mutual respect and affection. I guess it mirrors what is going on with respect to the idealological split in our national election. So, anyway, my troubadour friend, thanks once again for being so kind to me. Love, Gene
