I especially like your first point --- you're not alone. Although I'm embarrassed to admit it, I didn't realize there were other people with a speech problem like mine until I was 30 (even though I lived in England and now the U.S.). For me, feeling alone was probably the worst part of dealing with a stutter. Hopefully, with the Internet and people like you around less and less young stutterers will feel alone.
