Surely many will find this paper a convenient, straight-forward way to refer to how to use active listening skills when working with a person who stutters. Succinct, relevent hints for successful, active listening were also included in the convenient detail of an essential "do" and "don't" list provided for eliciting more successful listening skills. It was also positive how the authors mentioned how important trust is in clinician/client relationships; and how non-verbal cues such as good eye contact and posturing should not be considered unimportant.
