Thank you for your nice comments. As far as I know, this program is unique. There are other intensive programs such as Weekend Workshop at St. Rose College in Albany, New York. FFP is patterned after this program. We monitor the cws through contact with the slps treating them. One nice aspect of the program is the contact the referring slp has with the FFP team. Two of us on the team are Board Recognized Fluency Specialists so this program makes it easier for the clinicians to call and ask for information. The benefits of the program are many. The kids love the opportunity to talk in a positive environment and the parents enjoy the sharing and learning about stuttering. Thanks for your questions and I too wish that all graduate clinicians could have this experience!! DG
