I am graduate student pursuing a degree in speech-language pathology. Your essay was very helpful and got me thinking about how important it is to educate my client's parents. Since I only see my clients one time each week, it is essential for their parents to know about what is happening in treatment, their child's progress, and therapy techniques so that they may continue outside of the clinic. What type of information has been most helpful for you as the parent of a child who stutters? Where do you find the most benefitial information that relates to stuttering?
